Evelyn has been an aircraft mechanic for 20 years and is currently teaching budding young aviators "righty tighty, lefty loosey" at Honolulu Community College's aeronautical maintenance school.  As the team's resident Airframe and Powerplant mechanic with an Inspection Authorization, she helps keep the Champ in good working order. She and her husband own the two most ubiquitous training aircraft of the mid twentieth century, a Stearman PT-17 and a Cessna 150, which she flies any chance she gets.
